Hello and welcome to The Woolwich Grand Theatre website.

After a long struggle and determined fight the theatre has now opened its doors to the public, from now on official events and activities can take place. The organisation we have setup is not funded so far by government, local government or Arts Council and subsequently we rely heavily on fundraising and volunteers. Having established this theatre we want to go on and make this a resounding success in this area. So please come down and support our events.

The events we are putting on will be; Comedy nights, Cabaret nights, Music nights as well as celebrity talk evenings, Edinburgh warm up shows and small productions to begin with.

In the short time I have been in Woolwich there has been nothing but excitement and enthusiasm about what we aim to bring to Woolwich in what is a culturally starved area.
